Job summary
Insomnia Cookies is seeking a District Manager to oversee 9-10 stores in the Eastern Burroughs NYC market. You will lead a team focused on top-line sales, staffing, and customer service excellence while planning strategically to optimize performance.
You bring 5+ years of multi-unit leadership in food/retail, with strong coaching skills, and the ability to manage labor, operations, and compliance across diverse markets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-unit regional management in food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Ability to hire and coach a diverse part-time hourly staff
- Knowledge of supply chain, P&L analysis, customer service, compliance, human resources
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Bakery equipment knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional support strategies that achieve store financial, operational and customer-service goals.
- Provide expertise on customer service challenges, team staffing, store operations and company policies and procedures
- Assist in effectively managing labor in conjunction with Director of Workforce Planning, regional support team and Store Operations Managers
