Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies in Maxwell, IN is seeking a Dispatcher to plan, organize, and coordinate truck schedules to meet delivery and production needs. You will communicate with customers and drivers to ensure timely deliveries and prepare delivery tickets and documentation.

This role requires 2–4 years in dispatching or logistics, familiarity with fleet software, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of dispatching, trucking, logistics, or a related field experience.
• Experience with dispatch or fleet management software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize regional loads to dispatch trucks according to customer requests and production schedules.
• Communicate with customers to determine delivery needs, driver demand, and scheduling requirements.
• Assign drivers to routes and notify them of delivery schedules.
• Enter assignment and routing data into dispatch software and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare delivery tickets and related documentation for drivers.
• Respond to inquiries from drivers regarding routes, schedules, and delivery issues.
