Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a Director, HZL Region — Skilled Nursing to lead regional service-office operations, drive quality and growth, and develop leaders. Initial training with travel, then on-site leadership across Massachusetts/New York markets, relocating as needed.

The role partners with clinical and operational leaders to strengthen quality, client and employee experience, recruitment, and sustainable growth. Excellent leadership and commitment to compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in home health or skilled nursing.
• Proven success leading teams and developing talent.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Business acumen and use of performance metrics.
• Ability to lead across multiple offices and travel.
• Relocation willingness to market.

Responsibilities

• Lead office operations in alignment with BAYADA’s mission, values, professional standards, and operating model.
• Build the knowledge and confidence needed to lead core service-office operations and business routines.
• Build and maintain a culture where BAYADA is the home care employer and provider of choice.
• Promote excellent customer service, clinical quality, compliance, and reliable service delivery.
• Develop understanding of local market conditions, referral relationships, and growth opportunities.
• Create and execute recruiting, retention, marketing, and business‑development strategies that support regional goals.
• Manage performance against KPIs and lead the team in SMART goals related to caseload, billing, census, budgets, and office workflow.
• Hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and develop high‑potential office employees and future leaders.
• Establish succession plans and career-development opportunities.
• Foster teamwork through hands-on leadership, open communication, accessibility, recognition, and a positive work environment.
• Partner with clinical, operational, recruiting, and support‑office teams to address challenges and improve outcomes.
• Represent BAYADA professionally with clients, families, field employees, referral sources, community partners.
