Job summary

Shea Apartment Communities in Denver seeks a Regional Director to lead multiple communities with a focus on financial, operational, and customer service excellence. You will guide General/Community Managers and drive portfolio-wide initiatives from the Denver office.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in multifamily management, with strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on operations, including lease-ups and market-rate housing. Travel to properties is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years management experience in multifamily industry, preferably in Colorado.
• Experience managing at least a 700-unit property or multi-site responsibilities.
• Current experience with Denver apartment markets preferred, but not a requirement.
• Experience with Lease-Ups, Affordable and Market rate housing is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on property level knowledge and understanding to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple communities within the region, ensuring optimal performance across financial, operational, and customer service metrics.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop General/Community Managers and onsite associates.
• Formulate and implement annual business plans and long-term strategies for portfolio growth and asset optimization.
• Drive revenue growth and expense control through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior executives on portfolio initiatives and capital planning.
