Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of ambulatory surgical centers, accountable for P&L, service levels, quality, safety, and compliance.

You will collaborate with facility admins, Governing Boards, Physician Partners, and corporate resources to execute business plans and drive growth aligned with USPI’s strategy. You will lead a team of administrators, coach on HR, finance, and partnership management, and engage physicians

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in health professions, business administration or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum ten years of experience in healthcare business development, operations, finance, or consulting.
• Demonstrated success with people management and leadership.
• Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills.
• Ability to work with C-level healthcare partners, physicians, and staff.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to articulate financial results and respond to questions from hospital and physician partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational, financial, and growth strategies for ambulatory surgery centers.
• Lead administrators/CEOs in identifying barriers, implementing corrective actions, and improving performance.
• Drive case volume growth by ensuring centers support surgeon engagement, service lines, and efficient scheduling.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and develop plans to improve operations, quality, safety, and EBITDA.
