GRS Talent seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee ophthalmology-focused physician practices and ASCs across Texas. This role partners with physicians, admins, and corporate teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, patient experience, and strategic regional growth.

The candidate will manage regional P&L, budgeting, and KPIs, while mentoring Practice Administrators and expanding the network through acquisitions and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive multi-site healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading physician practices, ideally within a specialty care environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance and operational KPIs.
• Proven ability to build strong physician relationships and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience within private equity-backed healthcare, ASC operations, and M&A integrations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across 10–20+ physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
• Partner with physicians to improve operational performance, provider engagement, and patient access.
• Own regional P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI accountability.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Practice Administrators and operational leaders.
• Drive process improvement, workflow optimization, and patient experience initiatives.
• Monitor key operational metrics including revenue, EBITDA, labor, productivity, patient satisfaction, and provider utilization.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, HR, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Clinical leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Support physician recruitment, onboarding, acquisitions, and practice integrations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence across all locations.

A growing, private equity-backed physician services organization is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a network of multi-site specialty physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers across Texas.

Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will partner closely with physicians, practice administrators, and cross-functional corporate teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, patient experience, and strategic growth across the region.
