Leap Brands is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a multi-market portfolio of about 20 locations across the DMV and Southern California. • Direct experience leading District Managers.
• Experience overseeing 15–20+ restaurant locations.
• Operations experience in the DMV market.
• Southern California market experience preferred.
• Background in full-service restaurant or hospitality-focused leadership.
• Travel regularly between the DMV and Southern California.
• Strong P&L ownership with a history of improving sales and profitability.
• Proven ability to develop leaders, strengthen culture, and improve underperforming locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold District Managers accountable for operational and financial performance.
• Oversee sales, profitability, labor, food costs, budgets, and overall P&L performance.
• Build strong leadership teams and develop District Managers and General Managers.
• Establish consistent operating standards across multiple markets.
• Improve guest experience, hospitality, service execution, and restaurant-level accountability.
• Identify opportunities to increase dine-in, off-premise, and local market sales.
• Partner with senior leadership to execute company priorities and growth initiatives.
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence across both the DMV and Southern California.

Location: Washington, DC or Los Angeles, CA

Travel: Approximately 50% between the DMV and Southern California

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview

An established multi-unit restaurant organization is seeking a field-driven Regional Director of Operations to oversee approximately 20 locations across the DMV and Southern California.

This leader will manage through District Managers and be responsible for strengthening restaurant performance, developing leadership talent, improving operational consistency, and delivering a hospitality-forward guest experience across both markets.

Candidates may be based in the DMV or Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Meaningful operating experience within the DMV market
• Southern California market experience strongly preferred
• Full-service restaurant or hospitality-driven leadership experience
• Current QSR leaders may be considered if they have a strong full-service foundation and can clearly demonstrate a hospitality-first approach
• Strong P&L ownership with a history of improving sales and profitability
• Proven ability to develop leaders, strengthen culture, and improve underperforming locations
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly between the DMV and Southern California
