Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a Director Laboratory Region to lead and coordinate laboratory services across BSWH hospitals, clinics and facilities. The role directs programs for practice efficiency, quality, and patient safety while aligning with BSWH goals and regulatory standards.

You will oversee staffing, budgets, and operational plans, partner with leadership to drive growth, standardization, and care improvements, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of operations experience in laboratory, pathology, healthcare, or related area.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs laboratory and pathology services of assigned areas of responsibility for BSWH.
• Manages daily operations of the laboratory and pathology service areas; ensures accurate specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting.
• Produces laboratory financial and statistical reporting, including monthly responsibility reports and revenue reports.
• Monitors compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partners with other laboratory directors to achieve clinical integration and standardization.
