Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Fulltime Medical Laboratory Manager to lead our clinical laboratory operations in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on ensuring accurate testing, quality control, and regulatory compliance while supporting path to excellence.

You will oversee staff, coordinate specimen processing, maintain instruments, and liaise with hospital teams to ensure timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with supervised clinical internship in a laboratory, or equivalent education.
• All CLIA88 prerequisite education and/or experience requirements for testing personnel.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in collection of specimens for laboratory analysis and advises on proper collection procedures.
• Coordinates processes for referring tests to outside contracted laboratory.
• Maintains established methods, QC procedures, and maintenance schedules.
• Identifies unusual results, correlates with diagnosis, and ensures accuracy.
• Ensures adequate supplies are available and complies with regulatory standards.
