Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Director of IDD Residential Services (Area Director) to oversee all residential programs across the Indiana region, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure high-quality services for individuals with disabilities while supporting growth.

This senior role focuses on budget management, staffing, licensing, compliance, and program performance, collaborating with Area Managers and state leadership to drive excellence and regional expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 5+ years of experience within residential IDD/DD services.
• 2+ years of leadership experience overseeing multiple programs.
• Understanding of person-centered supports, residential operations, HCBS/CIH/IDOH standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technology.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support Area Managers and Program Directors across assigned residential programs.
• Build positive relationships with families, community partners, referral sources, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee residential program operations to ensure compliance with state regulations and HCBS standards.
• Monitor operational performance, budgets, expenses, and program outcomes.
