Job summary

Onterris, a leading environmental solutions company, is seeking a Regional Leader to own the P&L for Colorado operations and drive growth across Oil & Gas and related service lines. You will partner with regional leadership to align strategic initiatives with corporate objectives and ensure safe, high-quality project delivery.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strategic financial oversight, and the ability to manage multiple offices while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, natural resources, energy, oil & gas, or related industries.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, operational performance, and business growth.
• Demonstrated experience managing regional or multi-office P&L responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of oil & gas operations and environmental compliance.
• Proven success in strategic planning, operations management, and organizational leadership.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, profitability, utilization, and revenue growth.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive organizational transformation.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
• Experience developing high-performing teams and coaching emerging leaders.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Vice Presidents to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with company growth objectives.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and client service delivery.
• Own and manage regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, profitability, labor utilization, backlog, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Develop annual business plans, operating budgets, and strategic growth plans for the region.
• Provide direct leadership and mentorship to Operations Managers, Practice Leaders, People Managers, and senior technical staff.
• Drive operational reviews focused on project performance, resource allocation, staffing demands, and financial results.
