We have a new opportunity for a full-time Regional Director of Clinical Services!
This position will support our nursing services in Skilled, Hospice, and PACE.
Plans, develops, directs, and evaluates clinical services. Develops, reviews, and/or makes recommendations for the revision of clinical policies and procedures, and guidelines in collaboration with the COO, Executive Directors, and Directors of Nursing. Ensures clinical policies and procedures are in compliance with Federal, State, local regulations, and acceptable standards of practice.
Education/Training/Certifications: Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required. NJ license required. NJ & PA licenses preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate building collaborative and collegial professional relationships across LSMNJ. Excellent verbal and written skills. Strong administrative, managerial, organizational, and clinical skills. Skilled in needs assessment, planning, establishing priorities, and delegating tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations for long-term care, Assisted Living, Living Independently for Elders (LIFE), and community residential living. Demonstrated knowledge of standards of care and best practices. Skilled in clinical policy and procedure development, infection prevention and control, continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety. Dedication to collaborating with the healthcare team in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in Nursing Management, policy, and procedure development and implementation. Knowledgeable about Federal, State, and local regulations for long-term care, Assisted Living, LIFE, and community-based residential living. Minimum of three years working as a Director of Nursing within a skilled nursing facility.
