Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking a Regional Director for the Central region to provide strategic leadership over our distribution centers. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, overseeing performance, and ensuring a safe, cost‑effective regional logistics network.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership within logistics or transportation, with flatbed operations experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of developing teams and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the logistics or transportation industry, with specific experience in flatbed operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation and distribution operations, including knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Distribution centers within the region.
• Drive improved operational performance across the region to meet and exceed business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the regional network.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the Flatbed market
• Oversee the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
