SCHOFIELD&ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Regional Dietitian to support several skilled nursing facilities across the Lawrenceburg market from Indianapolis, IN. The role provides clinical nutrition oversight, regulatory guidance, and collaboration with facility teams to ensure residents receive high-quality nutritional care.

You will travel between facilities, lead dietary staff, ensure CMS compliance, review nutrition plans, and contribute to survey readiness and overall resident health outcomes.

Competenze

• Registered Dietitian licensure (RD/RDN) required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Strong CMS regulations and nutrition standards knowledge.

Regional Dietitian – Long-Term Care

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (covering multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Lawrenceburg, IN area)

A growing long-term care organization is seeking a Regional Dietitian to support several skilled nursing facilities throughout the Lawrenceburg market. This role provides clinical nutrition oversight, regulatory guidance, and support to facility teams to ensure residents receive high-quality nutritional care.

The Regional Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide clinical expertise, assist with regulatory compliance, and help facilities maintain excellent standards of nutritional care and survey readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nutrition oversight to multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Lawrenceburg region
• Conduct nutrition assessments, care plans, and follow-up evaluations for residents as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company dietary regulations and standards
• Support Dietary Managers and facility teams with nutrition programs, menu compliance, and documentation standards
• Assist facilities in maintaining survey readiness and participate in survey processes when needed
• Provide education and guidance to dietary and clinical staff regarding nutrition-related best practicesReview and monitor weight trends, nutrition risk indicators, and quality metrics
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, therapy, and physicians to ensure coordinated resident care
• Travel between facilities in the Lawrenceburg region as needed

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations and nutrition standards for long-term care
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple locations
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities
