Job summary

A health consulting firm is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to provide on-site nutritional consulting services to nursing homes in the Indianapolis region. Responsibilities include assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing meal plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in nutrition and be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel within designated region.
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and wellbeing.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned

We are looking for RD's who can provide onsite consulting services to nursing homes within their regional area and lead the Nutrition at Risk Meetings for high-risk residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and wellbeing
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs
• All other duties as assigned
