Facing History & Ourselves is seeking a Senior Director of Development, East to lead an integrated, multi-state fundraising plan and drive revenue growth across donor engagement, events, and institutional giving. You will manage a five-member team and partner with the Executive Director to advance regional priorities.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to translate national strategies into regional execution.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive nonprofit development experience with revenue growth responsibilities.
• 5+ years of team management experience leading multi-state fundraising programs.
• Experience coordinating with boards, advisory groups, and senior leadership.
• Proven success in fundraising strategy across multiple markets and functions.
• Track record cultivating, soliciting, and closing six-figure gifts.

Aufgaben

• Own the design and execution of the East region's annual and multi-year development plan.
• Lead an integrated program across multiple states and philanthropic markets.
• Drive performance across individual giving, institutional giving, events and donor engagement, and operations.
• Establish revenue forecasting, portfolio management, and reporting for visibility into goals.
• Translate national strategies into effective regional execution, using data to optimize results.
• Develop staff as fundraisers and relationship managers through coaching and reviews.
