The Senior Director of Development, East leads a multi-state fundraising program across individual giving, institutional giving, events, and donor engagement, reporting to the Executive Director, East. This role supervises a five-member team and partners with advisory boards to advance regional priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of nonprofit development with senior revenue goals.
• 5+ years of team management and leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating across matrixed teams and regions.
• Proven fundraising strategy across multi-state markets.
• Track record cultivating major gifts and engaging boards.

Responsibilities

• Own the East region development plan and revenue goals.
• Lead an integrated program spanning multiple states and markets.
• Forecast revenue, manage pipelines, and report progress.
• Translate national strategies into regional execution.
• Develop staff and foster accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with advisory boards to advance priorities.
