Job summary

Discover Sugar River Region (DSRR) seeks an entrepreneurial Executive Director to lead destination development, management, and marketing for western New Hampshire. You will work with the Board, contractors, and local partners to transform ideas into action and grow regional revenue.

The role requires relationship-building, strategic leadership, grant management, and hands-on program delivery across marketing, content, and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced education welcomed.
• Experience leading multi‑organization partnerships and grants.
• Strong writing, speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional engagement and partnership development with diverse stakeholders.
• Oversee destination and experience development and Catalyst project.
• Provide marketing guidance, content oversight, and digital strategy.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage grants and budgets.
• Coordinate community programs and regional visibility efforts.
• Provide governance support and organizational leadership with the Board.
