Job summary

Sunday River and Sugarloaf are seeking a driven outside sales professional to represent both mountains in the Maine market. This is not a desk job; you’ll be in the field building genuine client partnerships and converting relationships into memorable group experiences across two destinations.

Based within an hour of Portland, you’ll travel to Maine and New England, visit sites, and work with both resort teams to close group business and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of outside sales experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort.
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding group sales goals.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams, organized and communicative.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in-field across Maine and New England.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across both resorts, with ownership of group sales targets.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new group business while deepening existing accounts.
• Execute all stages of the group sales cycle from lead to closing.
• Conduct frequent client visits and entertainment across Maine market and site visits to both resorts.
