Job summary

Ford Credit seeks a Business Development Manager to manage a Dealer portfolio in the assigned region. You will deliver products and experiences to drive loyalty while coordinating with regional teams to grow volume and profitability.

The role requires interfacing with multiple internal/external teams, delivering strategic plans, and training dealerships to optimize finance performance. Based in the Portland/Salem area, relocation is approved.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Dealer Credit and Originations experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Relocation approved.
• Must be located in the Portland, Salem, Corvalis area.

Responsibilities

• Establish interface with FLM, FCSD Regional counterparts to pursue strategic vision and business plans.
• Achieve budgeted metrics (profit, ROE, volume, share) through dealer-level sales plans.
• Develop plans to leverage marketing and CRM initiatives for incremental sales opportunities.
• Maintain communication with the Business Center to ensure a consistent purchase policy.
• Provide in-dealership training to improve finance performance and product penetration.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Analyst to analyze dealership operations and KPIs.
• Conduct presentations to support profit, volume, and satisfaction goals.
• Monthly MAPS data review with dealer personnel.
