Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Regional Customs Brokerage Manager in Elk Grove Village, IL, to oversee and drive performance of customs brokerage operations in the region. You will lead licensed brokers, entry writers, and support staff to ensure timely, compliant clearance of imports.

Responsibilities include strategic regional workflow, staff mentoring, and collaboration with logistics, operations, and sales to deliver superior customer service, while maintaining CBP procedures and PGA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CBP customs broker license with no penalties or restrictions.
• Five years’ experience as a licensed customs broker.
• Three years’ experience as an entry writer.
• Two years’ experience managing others in a freight forwarding environment.
• Basic ISO training.
• Strong math skills to calculate duties, freight charges and storage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all customs business in the designated region.
• Lead and mentor a team of brokers, entry writers, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and client service standards.
• Assign, train, and supervise brokerage staff within the region.
• Prepare and file CBP documents for clearance of goods.
