Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Regional Chef to lead culinary programs across a territory. You will research, test, develop, document, train, implement, monitor, evaluate, and adjust innovative dishes and food programs.

You will influence facility design, menu creation, and cost reduction while upholding culinary standards. You will travel extensively, leading Chefs, training staff, and ensuring adherence to Core Culinary Standards across accounts, with a focus on development and operational

Qualifications

• Culinary Arts Degree from a recognized school or equivalent experience.
• Five years of progressive food service production management experience.
• Previous multi-unit experience preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification.
• Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite and Webtrition Software.
• This position will require 75% travel.

Responsibilities

• Orientates new Chefs within Core Culinary Standards and established food programs.
• Maintains Culinary Programs and Standards at the level of Culinary Center for Excellence.
• Supports new account openings and renovations within the territory.
• Provides Culinary Leadership to Chefs within the Territory.
• Assists with training, coaching, and development of Culinary personnel.
• Completes required reports, logs, and Core Culinary Reviews promptly.
• Communicates with Corporate Executive Chef, Regional Director, and unit Chefs via email/phone.
