Job summary

American Medical Administrators MGMT Company is seeking a Regional CPI Instructor to deliver ongoing CPI training for SNF staff and ensure safe, person-centered resident care. You will lead hands-on sessions, assess competency, and maintain records across facilities.

Travel between regional sites is required. A CPI Instructor certification is mandatory within 30 days of starting, with healthcare experience in long-term care highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience in skilled nursing or related healthcare settings.
• Strong CPI knowledge, crisis prevention, and verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct hands-on training and evaluate staff competency.
• Travel between regional facilities required.
• Must obtain CPI Instructor certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPI training for nursing, clinical, and facility staff.
• Provide initial and refresher CPI training per policy.
• Teach crisis prevention, de-escalation, and safe intervention techniques.
• Evaluate staff competency and maintain training records.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs.
