Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Regional Controller to provide financial leadership across 6 regional manufacturing sites, partnering with Operations, Sales, and HR. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, reporting to the Finance Director and driving profitability and operational improvements.

Based in a hybrid role with options in Plymouth, IN or Marysville, MI, you will coach a small finance team and ensure accurate reporting while supporting capital investments and pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing finance, accounting, or controlling experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and partnering with business leaders.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted finance business partner for Operations, Sales, and HR.
• Lead the annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-range planning.
• Analyze and communicate performance, including risks and opportunities.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve profitability, productivity, and cost.
• Lead monthly financial reviews and provide actionable recommendations.
• Oversee manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
• Support capital investment analysis, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and improve financial reporting, KPIs, and decision-support tools.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 finance professionals.
• Travel up to 15%.
