Job summary

Kyocera Document Solutions New York Metro, Inc. seeks a seasoned Controller to lead finance and accounting, enforce IFRS/US GAAP controls, and report to the Senior Director, Finance Operations. You will manage month-end close, financial statements, and cash flow.

Candidates should have 7–10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree (CPA a plus), strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements, audits, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent. Advance degree or CPA certification a plus.
• 7-10 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP requirements and financial controls.
• Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all financial reports are prepared according to corporate accounting policies and IFRS/US GAAP.
• Prepares and presents monthly financial statements and related reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow, budgets, variance).
• Manages period close and cut-off; analyzes pre-close results and approves adjustments.
• Maintains accounting functions including AR and AP; ensures inventory and fixed assets are observed.
• Coordinates annual independent audit and regulatory compliance.
