Job summary

Kymeta is seeking a hands-on Controller / Director of Accounting in the United States to lead core accounting operations and provide strategic financial insights. You will manage close processes, reporting, internal controls, and collaborate with the CFO to drive planning, forecasting, and decision support.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of external audit experience with a top-six firm.
• Six+ years accounting and financial reporting experience with audit exposure.
• Strong command of GAAP, internal controls, and external audit requirements.
• Experience supporting FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience; Oracle Fusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, consolidation, AP, AR, payroll, inventory accounting, and close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow, and management reporting.
• Coordinate external audit, tax compliance, and R&D tax credits.
• Partner with CFO on budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Drive process improvements and ERP enhancements, and coach accounting staff.
