Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Regional Controller to manage accounting functions, FP&A, and internal controls. This role requires over 12 years of accounting experience with a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance. This position offers a competitive salary of $168,000 to $210,000, plus bonuses based on performance, with a hybrid work structure.

Base pay range

$168,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr

LHH is partnering with a publicly traded manufacturing client searching for a Regional Controller. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Regional Controller will manage the region's accounting functions, FP&A, internal controls, and internal financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:

• Manage the entire accounting function of the region
• Lead the monthly close process including general ledger maintenance, inventory, operating expenses, invoice review, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Complete monthly accounting and financial reporting requirements for corporate level functions
• Lead the regional payroll process
• Assist with data requests pertaining to tax provisions and tax returns
• Provide assistance with the consolidation process
• Prepare and present variances to budget, forecast and prior year
• Develop and execute strategic financial plans including forecasting and the annual budget process
• Approve capital project and provide evaluation

Internal Controls:

• Assist internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with all internal controls and external regulations (SOX)
• Identify and lead opportunities to improve financial controls and processes and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of accounting experience required with previous experience as a Controller
• Public accounting experience a plus
• Experience and expertise with SOX compliance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems required, SAP and Oracle preferred. Previous ERP implementation experience a plus

The salary range for this position is $168,000 - $210,000 plus bonus. Bonus is dependent upon company and personal performance.
