Lokal Apps is seeking a Content Specialist to ensure that all image and video content published on Lokal Apps meets our language, creative, cultural, and quality standards. The role requires sharp attention to detail, regional language expertise, and the ability to manage high-volume content quality checks.

The role involves reviewing content across categories, coordinating with Content Ops, Growth, and Marketing during events, and maintaining a fast turnaround without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong command of the respective regional language.
• Good understanding of local culture, festivals, trends, and social-media content.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Ability to quickly identify linguistic, visual, and contextual errors.
• Basic understanding of image/video editing and design quality.

Responsibilities

• Review images and videos before publishing.
• Check spelling, grammar, translation, and language accuracy.
• Ensure content is culturally and contextually relevant for each language.
• Identify blurred visuals, poor layouts, incorrect text placement, low-quality edits, and misleading content.
• Review content across categories such as festivals, devotional, wishes, motivation, Suvichar, political, and trending content.
• Verify language, category, tags, and metadata.
• Prevent cross-language, duplicate, and irrelevant content from entering the feed.
• Maintain and follow a clear QC checklist and quality standards.
• Share regular feedback with creators and editors.
• Track recurring mistakes and highlight creator- and language-level quality issues.
• Coordinate with Content Ops, Growth, and Marketing teams during major events and festivals.
• Maintain fast turnaround without compromising content quality.
