Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 2+ years in journalism, copywriting, or editing of media content.
• Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Strong computer literacy; familiarity with iOS/macOS systems is a plus.
• Willingness to work remotely and collaborate in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Localize, translate, and adapt content across multimedia categories while adhering to style guides.
• Write new copy for music, TV, app descriptions, and related services.
• Perform linguistic reviews of own work and others in the team.
• Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy.
• Conduct Localization QA testing for live content on platforms.
• Perform market-specific research on content treatment and localization best practices.
• Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics.
• Report on data and assets across media types.
• Create training materials and ensure teammates are trained on terminology and style.
• Collaborate with global language teams via meetings and emails to calibrate terminology.
