Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent II to support anticipated Job Order Contracting projects for USPS.

You will supervise field activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work in active facilities is safe, compliant, and on schedule. The role requires coordinating with program managers, clients, and vendors, and driving quality in renovation, repair, and facility improvements across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising commercial construction, renovation, repair, or facility improvement projects.
• Experience with Job Order Contracting, federal construction, government facilities, postal facilities, or other task-order programs is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily onsite construction activities for Job Order Contracting projects.
• Serve as Weston’s onsite representative and maintain communication with the Program Manager, Project Manager, client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and facility personnel.
• Support safe and efficient execution of renovation, repair, maintenance, and facility improvements in active facilities.
• Coordinate subcontractor staffing, scheduling, sequencing, deliveries, access and daily work activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, workmanship, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Identify constructability concerns and potential scope changes and communicate them to the Project Manager.
• Develop short-term look-ahead schedules and provide field input for overall schedules.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list work, and project closeout activities.
