Job summary
Align Builders, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead jobsite safety on our commercial projects in California.
The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture, conducting site inspections, and collaborating with project leadership to mitigate hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of safety leadership in commercial construction, a bachelor's degree in a safety-related field, and certifications such as CSP/CHST or OSHA
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in safety-related field and 2+ years on-site safety leadership in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Cal/OSHA requirements.
- Ability to lead safety programs across multiple active projects.
Responsibilities
- Implement the company safety program and site-specific safety plan on projects.
- Maintain visible field presence and support supervision in safe work practices.
- Conduct daily walks, hazard assessments, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Lead safety trainings, orientations, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
