Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of General Services is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Coordinator for the South Eastern Region. The role requires traveling daily to project sites across Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, with a home base in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional building construction administration, construction planning, or construction project engineering experience for renovations and new construction of commercial, institutional, or educational buildings; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and renovation tasks to support smooth daily operations
• Provide direction to contractors, consultants, and other professionals throughout project phases
• Track timelines, resolve issues, and ensure activities follow approved plans and schedules
• Confirm materials are approved, ordered, delivered, and appropriate for project needs
• Ensure construction follows all codes, regulations, specifications, and agency procedures
