Job summary

Worldwide Retail Growth and Development (WWRGD) is seeking a Manager of Construction Management to lead the delivery of new Whole Foods Market stores and Amazon physical retail spaces across the western United States.

You will own the regional construction pipeline from site acquisition handoff through design, construction execution, and turnover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget, on schedule, and to Amazon quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading construction management or commissioning teams.
• Knowledge of project management tools.
• Experience in networking administration/troubleshooting with strong analytical skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Experience developing solutions on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of construction project managers to plan, schedule, and execute multiple complex construction projects.
• Oversee contractors to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks with risk management strategies.
• Optimize construction processes for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure design/engineering requirements are met.
• Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management.
• Participate in selecting and managing construction vendors and service providers.
• Contribute to construction policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop the construction PM team and promote continuous improvement.
