CooperDouglas is seeking a VP Finance & Accounting to lead the regional finance and accounting function in Irvine. This senior role partners with regional executives to shape strategy, manage risk, and drive growth across a significant portfolio of large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction finance, CPA or MBA, strong executive presence, and expertise in ERP, Excel, and data visualization. Onsite in Irvine with full benefits and bonuses.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior leadership responsibility within construction.
• Experience with large commercial or civil contractors and revenue recognition on long-term projects.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools; comfortable using AI and analytics to improve decisions.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership.

• Serve as the senior finance partner to regional executive leadership, contributing to strategy and growth planning.
• Analyze regional financial results and present recommendations to the executive team.
• Provide project-level financial analysis and forecasting for a large project portfolio.
• Assess financial strength of project owners and joint venture partners; advise on major contracts.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor cash position at regional level.
• Oversee regional accounting and reporting in coordination with corporate teams.
• Apply analytics and forecasting to deliver deeper performance insights.
• Develop and mentor the finance and accounting team for future leadership.
• Represent the region with clients, trade partners, and financial institutions.
