Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing project management and construction firm in Irvine, CA, seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller who will build the finance infrastructure and lead the on-site finance team. You will own accounting operations, payroll, and the revenue cycle while partnering with an experienced VP of Finance.

Key focus areas include strengthening close processes, implementing ERP and workflow systems, and identifying automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership
• Experience owning accounting operations, payroll, and revenue-cycle functions
• Project-based environment experience in construction/engineering or similar

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, billing, payroll and revenue-cycle operations
• Oversee project-based billing, POs, invoicing, collections and change orders
• Strengthen close processes, controls and accounting infrastructure
• Manage multistate payroll and payroll reporting
• Drive ERP/workflow-system implementations and automation opportunities
• Partner with HR, vendors and leadership to resolve financial issues
