Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Regional Computer Operations Support Analyst to monitor and maintain critical DoD systems in a 24x7 environment. You will provide first-line technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and document incidents for the Watch Officer and CCC.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and DoD 8140 certification, plus experience across UNIX/Linux/Windows, Cisco and Juniper networks, and MS Office tools. A rotating 12-hour shift is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP)
• Experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments
• System and/or network administration experience (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper)
• Troubleshooting hardware and software components
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance in a 24x7 environment
• Provide first-level technical support to warfighter and troubleshoot local hardware, software, and networks
• Document and report events/issues to the CWO; receive tasking from the CCC
• Assist in hardware/software installations and manage user accounts as directed by ISSO
• Work a rotating 12-hour shift with off-shift coverage as needed
