Job summary

Universal Health Services' Willow Springs Center is seeking a Community Liaison to connect the facility with referral sources across Northern California and surrounding counties. The role educates the community about services for pediatric psychiatric care, develops workshops, and builds a robust network of 160 referral sources monthly.

Travel within the territory, including overnight stays up to 25%, is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field.
• Experience: A minimum three (3) years of experience in a health care business development management position preferred, with extensive business development experience resulting in measurable results.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements may be considered.
• Must be willing and able to travel by car daily within the assigned territory.
• Must be willing and able to travel OVERNIGHT 25% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manages time effectively in order to meet obligations for meetings, reports and information, and public communication.
• Develops and implements community workshops and seminars, held at the facility or in the community.
• Develops and maintain new accounts and markets. Maintains customer support of 160 referral source contacts per month.
• Analyzes changes within the changing health care environment and health care market and makes recommendations to improve services based on analysis.
• Attends and participates in professional group meetings; stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field; represents Willow Springs Center on various committees.
• Maintains primary contact with all customers assigned accounts through On-Site visits on an ongoing basis.
