Job summary

The United Nations Secretariat is seeking a consultancy through the DCO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen visibility, knowledge sharing, and learning across the RC system. You will support regional communications, coordinate the RCO/UNIC Communications Network, and ensure high-quality knowledge products are produced and shared with stakeholders.

The role requires fluency in English and Spanish, with knowledge of French or Portuguese an advantage, and at least two

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience in communications, public information, knowledge management, reporting or related field.
• Experience producing and editing communications and knowledge products for professional audiences.
• Experience coordinating networks, communities of practice, or multi-country processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation, editing, and dissemination of high-quality communications and visibility products (news items, features, newsletters, briefs, web content).
• Develop regional stories highlighting RC leadership and UNCT collaboration; coordinate regional communications campaigns.
• Provide coordination and secretariat support to the RCO/UNIC Communications Network; organize network meetings and exchange best practices.
• Support systematic capture, synthesis, and dissemination of lessons learned and good practices; develop concise knowledge products; maintain an organized repository of regional resources.
