Job summary

BestDrive by Continental is seeking a Commercial Sales Associate to be the main contact for sales and service in a busy tire dealership. You will drive sales for area fleets, promote new tires, retreads and services, and call on both existing accounts and new prospects to grow a profitable book of business.

You will build product knowledge of Continental and General Tire brands, work within the company operating system for billing, and strive to meet or exceed sales and gross profit targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Previous sales experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial tire accounts in designated areas.
• Sell industrial tires, new tires, retreads and services.
• Maintain current accounts with regular sales calls.
• Learn and use the billing system for sales transactions.
• Maintain profitable margins and achieve sales goals.
• Develop knowledge of products and services to inform customers.
• Meet established sales and gross profit targets.
• Assess customer needs and make recommendations.
• Prepare weekly sales plans and complete call reports.
