Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive outside commercial sales to medium and large institutional buyers. You will lead prospecting, manage commercial projects from start to finish, and collaborate with the Inside Commercial Sales team to win and deliver large jobs.

Daily travel in the local market is required as you build pipeline and close deals. The role requires strong negotiation, CRM proficiency, and experience with RFPs/RFQs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial industry sales experience required

Responsibilities

• Travel daily throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers
• Manage projects from inception to completion including opportunity identification, product selection, and delivery coordination
• Follow up on leads from sources such as Dodge, store leads, networking groups, etc.
• Work with the Inside Commercial Sales team to pursue leads and maximize sales efforts
• Submit proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs after pricing approval from management
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to confirm product availability or special PO needs
• Stay current on merchandise training and new product lines
• Monitor contract calendars and prepare status reports on leads and reports
• Participate in trade shows and other promotional efforts
