Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machines across assigned stores. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and complete work orders in Service Channel, with after-hours coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, EPA Universal certification, valid driver's license, and 3+ years' experience.

Qualifications

Must be able to troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple stores.
EPA Universal certification is required for handling refrigerants.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within assigned region.
State licensures may be required depending on locale.

Responsibilities

Perform and oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and related systems.
Plan work, obtain tools, and enter work orders in the system in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units, ice machines, EMS controls, and related equipment.
Advise store managers on repairs and upgrades to optimize energy efficiency.
Ensure safety guidelines are followed and communicate status to stakeholders.
Respond to after-hours calls and weekends as needed.
