Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, is seeking a Store Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration and related systems in assigned Food Lion stores. You will complete work orders in Service Channel, manage energy efficiency, and support after-hours emergencies.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, EPA Universal, 3+ years' related experience, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50–100 lbs, and willingness to travel

• Ability to travel daily, throughout assigned region, in company provided work vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair needs of assigned stores, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, energy management, and hardware.
• Plan and generate work to be performed and obtain necessary tools, equipment, and materials to complete assignments and enter work orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect and evaluate all areas of assigned stores, proposing improvements and taking corrective action as needed.
• Advise store managers on repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Update control set-points for refrigeration systems and EMS controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and wiring.
• Analyze mechanical operation of refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Facilitate timely and cost-effective repairs of building components and systems.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls and weekends as needed.
