Job description

About this role:

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day property management functions for three properties, including building operations, tenant and vendor relations, administration and enforcement of contracts, oversight of various projects, lease administration, and accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong leasing skills and a construction management background.

More specifically, you’ll be actively involved in the following:
  1. Operations: Conduct property visits/inspections and manage follow-up actions. Obtain bids on vendor contracts and capital projects. Maintain online work order tracking and follow up with tenants and vendors. Review plans and oversee tenant improvement work.
  2. Communications & Correspondence: Serve as the primary contact for tenants, vendors, local municipalities, and community groups. Manage and update contact databases and digital files.
  3. Operating Expense Management: Prepare budgets, secure bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee improvements. Track expenses to ensure properties stay within budget.
  4. Accounting: Review and approve non-recurring payables and expenses. Review GL reports monthly, assist with annual budgets, and manage NNN escalations, reconciliations, and tenant collections as needed.
  5. Administrative: Maintain digital and paper filing systems to ensure information is current and accessible to the team.
