Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Regional/Industry Closing Associate in Farmington Hills, MI to oversee the closing of commercial middle market transactions. You will coordinate with clients, attorneys, relationship managers, and internal teams to ensure documents, waivers, and approvals are in place for a timely “clear to close” decision.

The role requires strong communication, analytical prowess, and knowledge of loan documentation and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in commercial banking or legal environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages the entire closing process for middle market transactions with minimal supervision.
• Collaborates with client, relationship manager, regional closing manager, loan closing specialist and portfolio manager to address policy, legal, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Ensures closing documents are prepared and executed per credit approvals and timelines.
• Directs and coordinates with outside attorneys and the funding/boarding team for accurate funding and post-boarding.
