Fifth Third Bank, National Association, in El Segundo, California, seeks a Regional Closing Associate to manage the closing process for middle market transactions with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with clients, relationship managers, attorneys, and internal teams to ensure all documents and approvals are in place before closing.

The role requires knowledge of loan documentation and regulatory rules, plus strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, with 2–4 years

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or paralegal preferred.
• 2–4 years of related commercial banking and/or legal experience.
• Proficient knowledge of commercial loan documentation and requirements.
• Familiarity with CCAS, AFS, RIMS, and Loan Doc Prep System.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

• Manage the entire closing process for middle market transactions with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with the deal team and outside attorneys to address policy, legal and regulatory closing matters early.
• Ensure transactions close per the credit approval memo and required approvals.
• Direct the loan closing specialist to complete the master checklist for timely execution.
• Manage the closing calendar balancing multiple internal and external clients.
• Engage and coordinate with outside attorneys involved in commercial loan closings.
• Ensure funding and boarding are accurate and post-boarding review is conducted.
