Job summary

CBRE/Turner & Townsend seeks a Regional Commercial Management Lead for the Global Technology Client's Bay Area capital projects. You will oversee commercial performance, budgeting, benchmarking, ROM estimates, and stage-gate budgets, while driving continuous improvement.

The role includes onboarding and training of internal and external Cost Management teams, ensuring best-in-class delivery and client engagement at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical area; Graduate degree preferred in a related sector.
• RICS chartered quantity surveyor OR minimum 8 years of relevant commercial management experience.
• Experience leading cost management teams (internal/external).
• Proven track record managing global or multi-country capital portfolios, esp. corporate office fit-out projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for senior client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Monthly Commercial Review (MCR) for client leadership with spend forecasts and risk analysis.
• Provide accurate forecasting and early warnings on issues affecting performance.
• Support Capital Plan/Pipeline management; interface with the regional PMO; update milestones and cashflows.
• Coordinate and validate new project requests including scope, schedule, budget, and cashflow.
• Prepare benchmarking reports using client data and internal/external insights; utilize UET.
• Maintain a quarterly tracker of project-related savings and value-add initiatives.
• Serve as the eBuilder SME; provide training and ensure system adoption.
• Provide strategic oversight and quality control for cost management teams.
• Promote best practices across CBRE/TT service lines.
