Ladders is seeking a Regional Clinical Study Manager to oversee regional study execution from feasibility to closeout with hands-on leadership and a focus on delivering inspection-ready studies. Remote – US-based candidates only.

You will lead regional clinical operations, manage external vendors, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timelines and budgets while mentoring junior team members.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Regional Clinical Study Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will oversee regional clinical study execution from feasibility through closeout, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, inspection-ready studies. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and site teams to keep timelines, budgets, and operational priorities aligned. It is a hands-on leadership role that combines clinical operations expertise, team coordination, and disciplined study oversight.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $118,600 – $158,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional clinical operations team and manage external vendors to support study delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on study progress
• Plan and manage clinical studies from feasibility through closeout activities
• Ensure operational feasibility and drive site selection processes
• Monitor compliance with study protocols and maintain inspection readiness
• Manage regional study budgets and vendor selection

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in clinical research within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
• Proven experience as a team lead in clinical functions
• Experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline required; advanced degree preferred
• Strong computer skills in MS Office and project planning applications
