Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Engineering leader to manage day-to-day operations, budget, and staff across assigned sites. You will guide capital equipment planning, equipment procurement, and technology assessments for senior administration and medical staff.

You will mentor staff, enforce regulatory standards, and coordinate with Information Services for security and integration, while driving performance and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field required or actively pursuing.
• 3-4 years of progressively more responsible job-related or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops department goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Develops department budget and manages resources.
• Selects, trains, orients and assigns department staff; evaluates performance and conducts performance management.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of Clinical Engineering across sites/regions.
• Leads capital equipment planning, budgeting, and procurement; evaluates proposals.
