Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver based in East Chicago, IN. The role involves a route from East Chicago to the Midwest with an average of 65 hours per week and weekly home time.

Drivers earn $120k–$130k per year, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Compensation includes hourly wages (overtime and per diem) and hourly pay up to $35/hour. Health benefits begin after 30 days, with 401K, stock purchase, and paid time off.

Formación

Requires Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
Minimum 3 months of tanker experience; ability to operate tractor-trailer tanks.

Responsabilidades

Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
Adheres to weights and proper utilization of units.
Ensures proper loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
Places proper placards according to DOT requirements.
Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Safety-Kleenis looking for a Regiona Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in E. Chicago, IN! This route runs from E. Chicago, IN to the Midwest and averages 65 hours per week.

About the role:

Drivers average $120-$130K per year
$7,500 sign-on-bonus available
Weekly home time
Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) over time and per diem
Hourly Wages up to $35 an hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
Operates tractor trailer tanker units
Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Class A CDL
Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
Minimum 3 months of tanker experienceHAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
Ability to climb and work from heights
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
