Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver in Dolton, IL, with routes to EL Dorado, AR and the Midwest. This role offers both mileage pay and hourly wages, averaging 2,800–3,000 miles per week with weekly home time.

Drivers average $80–$110K per year and may receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Health benefits, 401K with company matching, and other benefits are included. Job type: Full time, regular schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• HAZMAT endorsement required.
• Tankerman endorsement preferred or required depending on route.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weight limits and proper utilization of units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste and secures loads.
• Plates vehicle per DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports.
• Complies with all safety policies and procedures.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Dolton, IL. This route runs from Dolton, IL. to EL Dorado, AR and also to the Midwest (Flex), OTR, $.53-.55 per mile and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. Mileage/ hourly paid.

About the role:

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
